With two departures at 09:00 and 12:00, you have another opportunity to experience this memorable railway journey.

Meet “SYLVIA”

Leading the journey is the magnificent SAR Class 19B No. 1412, “SYLVIA.”

Built in 1930, this 96-year-old steam locomotive remains proudly operational today, giving passengers the rare opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and power of a working steam locomotive.

Hear the whistle, feel the power of steam and enjoy the unmistakable rhythm of the rails as Sylvia makes her way along the beautiful Garden Route coastline.
